Artistic Cosmetic Solutions is a practice dedicated to permanent makeup and corrective medical tattooing. Dr. Laura Reed, O.D., is one of very few health care professionals nationwide who specialize exclusively in cosmetic tattooing. She is also the only doctor in Southern California who actually performs all the procedures herself. Dr. Reed has helped women and men of all ages and races. She has patients from every Southern California county—Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, Imperial, and Ventura. Patients from other states and countries have also benefitted from her skills and expertise.

Beauty… A lifelong artist with over 30 years experience in conventional makeup application, Dr. Reed has a keen eye for shape, symmetry, and color. Using her artistic talents and advanced tattooing skills, she creates many beautiful looks ranging from subtle and natural to glamorous and dramatic. She is confident yet conservative and will only perform your procedure with your approval of the design and color(s) selected.

Comfort… The atmosphere in Dr. Reed’s office reflects her attention to detail, honest and direct personality, and warm, down-to-earth attitude. It is clean and clinical, yet bright and colorful. Secluded and quiet, the room is fresh with sanitized air. She uses custom-made, superior topical anesthetics to help ensure that you have a pain-free experience. Combined with relaxing background music, you may be another one of her many patients who doze off during your procedure (it’s okay…snoring is a secret she will never tell).

Safety… Dr. Reed has extensive education in human anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology combined with over 26 years of patient care experience. She uses computerized digital equipment and sterile safety needles that guarantee no disease transmission between patients. She uses hypoallergenic pigments to minimize any risk of an allergic reaction. Her procedure room has an air purification system clinically proven to reduce bacteria and viruses on surfaces and in the air. Since she provides all after care supplies, her infection control standards are maintained even after you leave. Her office is licensed for permanent cosmetics by the Orange County, California Department of Health and is inspected annually.

Dr. Laura Reed is a consumer safety advocate who has lectured to the public on health issues in permanent cosmetics. She has been quoted as an expert in cosmetic medicine blogs and featured in newspapers such as The Orange County Register. Dr. Reed was named “Best Permanent Makeup Artist for Garden Grove and Stanton” by The Garden Grove Journal. Examples of her work were presented at the International Congress of Permanent Cosmetics. She is a member of the American Academy of Micropigmentation and the Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals.
